Forms and comments
When you fill in a contact or booking form on this website, we collect the details you choose to share, such as your name, email address, phone number and a short message, along with basic technical data like your IP address and browser type to help prevent spam. If you leave a comment on our blog, your name and comment may be visible to the public. Please don’t include detailed health information in website forms or comments. Once you’re in touch, a member of our team will talk with you privately about what you need.
Media
If you upload images to this website, please avoid images that contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS), as visitors may be able to download them and read that data. We never ask clients to send clinical documents through the public website.
Cookies
This website uses a small number of cookies, which are small files stored by your browser. Some are needed for the site to work properly, for example to keep forms secure or remember a choice you’ve made, such as a cookie notice preference. These usually last from a single visit up to a year.
We may also use basic analytics cookies to understand, in general terms, how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed most. This helps us make information easier to find. We don’t use cookies to collect health information, and we don’t sell information gathered through cookies.
You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
If you choose to block cookies, most of the site will still work, though some features, such as forms, may not work as expected.
Embedded content from other websites
Some pages on this site may include embedded content from other websites, such as maps, videos or booking tools. Embedded content behaves in the same way as if you had visited the other website directly.
Those websites may collect data about you, use cookies, add their own tracking and monitor how you interact with the embedded content, especially if you have an account and are logged in to their service. Their own privacy policies apply.
Who we share your data with
We don’t sell your information. We share it only with trusted providers that help run our services, under appropriate agreements, or when the law requires it.
How long we retain your data
Messages sent through this website are kept only as long as we need them to respond to you and for reasonable administrative records. Blog comments, if any, are kept until they are removed.
If you become a client, your clinical records are kept separately in a secure electronic health record system, protected under HIPAA, and retained for the length of time required by New York State law. Our Notice of Privacy Practices, shared with you when you begin care, explains how we protect and use that information.
What rights you have over your data
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you from this website, and ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@calmora.com. Some information may need to be kept for legal, administrative or security reasons. If you are a client, you also have rights under HIPAA, including the right to see and request a copy of your health records and to ask for corrections, as described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
Where your data is sent
Form submissions may be checked by an automated spam filter before being securely delivered to our team.
