Founder & Clinical Director

I’m a licensed clinical psychologist and founded Calmora in 2014. My work centers on anxiety, trauma and careful psychological evaluations, using research-based methods shaped around your goals rather than a manual.

Frequently
Asked Questions

Questions people often ask

Start with a free 15-minute phone call. We’ll talk about what’s been going on and what you hope will change, then find a time for your first session. You don’t need to have everything figured out first — being open to the process is enough.

Sessions last 50–60 minutes. We’ll agree together on how often to meet — usually weekly or every other week, depending on your needs and schedule.

Calmora is out-of-network with most insurance plans. Without insurance, therapy sessions typically range from $150 to $275, depending on the clinician you work with.

Our Care Coordination team can help you check your out-of-network benefits and will provide superbills so you can seek reimbursement from your plan. If you’re paying for yourself, you’ll receive a Good Faith Estimate before you begin, in line with the No Surprises Act.

It depends on your goals and what you’re working through. Some people feel ready to finish after a few months; others prefer longer-term support. Your therapist will suggest an initial plan and timeline, and we’ll review it together as things change.

My approach is integrative, drawing on CBT, ACT, EMDR and psychodynamic therapy. In practice, that means meeting you where you are and choosing the methods that fit what you need most right now.
