Telehealth therapy

Telehealth lets you see a Calmora clinician by secure video from anywhere in New York or New Jersey. Individual, couples and family therapy, child and teen sessions, and psychiatric medication management are all available, with the same care and confidentiality as our offices.

Which services are available by telehealth?

Most of our care can be delivered by telehealth, so you can choose the format that works for you or mix video visits with in-person appointments in Manhattan, Brooklyn or Westchester. A few treatments, such as Spravato, ketamine and TMS, take place in our offices, as does some testing.

What is telehealth therapy?

How our virtual care works

Telehealth means meeting your clinician through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform rather than in person. You’ll get a private link before each appointment and join from your phone, tablet or computer. It can support:

Getting started is simple: book through our Care Coordination team, complete your intake forms online and join your first session from a private, quiet space. Your clinician will confirm your location at the start of each visit and agree a plan with you for what happens if the connection drops or you need extra support.

Benefits of telehealth therapy

Telehealth is now a well-established way to receive mental health care, and research suggests it can be as effective as in-person treatment for many conditions. It keeps care within reach when weather, illness, travel or a busy week would otherwise get in the way.

Care across NY & NJ

See our clinicians from anywhere in New York or New Jersey, not only near our three offices.

One connected team

Your therapist and psychiatrist can coordinate through telehealth, so your care plan stays joined up.

Easy to mix formats

Switch between video and in-person visits as your needs, schedule or treatment plan change.

Secure & confidential

Sessions use encrypted, HIPAA-compliant video and follow the same privacy rules as in-office care.

Calmora is out-of-network with most plans. Our Care Coordination team provides superbills and can help you check your out-of-network telehealth benefits.
